What kinds of materials do we use?
PUR-foam
COLD foam
Comfort foam which was developed only recently, thanks to modern technology. It has excellent elasticity in spite of a high volume density (a long lifetime). Due to the open cell structure, HR foam has excellent breathability, therefore it balances the differences in temperature very well. Together with the washable cover, HR foam mattresses provide an anti-allergenic climate for healthy sleep. The quality of this material is a guarantee of a long mattress life with permanent orthopaedic properties. Mattresses are suitable for a grid of bars.
Hydrolatex
Advanced material, produced with a combination of foam and latex. It is a marriage of the advantages of both materials. It has excellent elasticity due to vertical perforation and very good breathability, therefore there is a high level of hygiene during sleep. The mattress core has three orthopaedic zones of firmness for greater support of the spine. At present, Hydrolatex maintains its shape for a very long time (lifetime).
Latex
Foam made from natural rubber. Due to its excellent elasticity and mainly for the ability to maintain this property for many years, it became an example for the development of HR (cold) foams. Excellent orthopaedic properties of latex foam are best shown in combination with a suitable grid of bars (min. 22 No. bars).
LAZY-FOAM
The unique properties of the highly elastic LAZY-FOAM are a guarantee of maximum comfort during sleep. Due to its ability to respond to pressure and temperature, it can optimally adjust to the shape of the human body. With the effect of the user’s body temperature, the highly elastic foam softens, which provides equal distribution of weight and a decrease in average pressure affecting the human body. Therefore, blood circulation is not disturbed and bed sores are avoided. During sleep, muscles are totally relaxed, which supports total body relaxation. Mattresses of highly elastic foam can be recommended for all those who require high comfort. That is why this foam is also known as ‘lazy foam’.
BONELL spring
High firmness, traditional quality. Proven by time, constant elasticity. During the whole lifetime – up to 25 years. Mattress construction using springs brings high breathability to the customer and therefore also high anti-allergenic protection. Suitable for a solid grid or a grid with bars.
POCKET spring
Mattresses with pocket springs are the top amongst spring mattresses. Each spring is individually placed in a pocket which allows individual copying of the body’s form. Greater ability for orthopaedic support of the spine are added to the classical Bonell spring due to a higher amount of springs and their distribution over 7 zones of firmness (Physiosystem). The number of springs for the standard size is 350 and for “system 1000” is 1000. High breathability and orthopaedic properties places these mattresses amongst those of the highest quality.
NATURAL foams - Biofoam
BIOFOAM is cold (HR) foam produced from natural materials. The basic component does not contain any additions which contain crude products, but is obtained from sugar-beet. Due to highly advanced technology, a new range of elasticity was achieved. This provides high orthopaedic properties. The open cell structure is a guarantee of good breathability which creates a good climate for health sleep.
NATURAL foams - Embrace Talalay
The basic raw material for the prduction of EMBRACE TALALAY latex is natural rubber produced from rubber trees with the botanic name “Hevea Brasiliensis“. Natural latex, synthetic latex and high quality vulcanisation additives create the basic mixture of this unique material. The secret of Embrace Talalay foam is also in the unique method of production. Temperature during production changes depending upon its phase, from -30° C to +115° C and is crucial for the quality of the product. The structure of the foam is created using open and equally distributed cells. This provides greater regulation of humidity. The already excellent breathability is fortified by thousands of ventilation channels. The characteristic property of Embrace foam is its high elasticity per point which provides optimal orthopaedic body support during sleep. All of these advantages are constant over a long period, which ensures permanent comfort even after many years.
NATURAL foams - Biogreen
This foam shows that the connection of the latest technology and recyclable natural resources is also possible in the field of mattress production. This connection not only preserves our ecosystem, but also brings a bit of nature into our bedrooms. The raw materials produced from crude oil are, in this foam, replaced with a natural material – castor oil, which has been used for many years in the pharmaceutical industry. During their growth, the plants from which it is produced got their energy from the earth and the sun; this is also in our mattresses via the oil.
FOAM SPRING
New developed FOAM SPRING combines the advantages of pocket springs and a high aeration of the AIR FLOW system. It is flexible and without using wire, provides exceptional comfort whilst sleeping. The high density of the used foams ensures a long lifetime. The FOAM SPRING system can be found in the SENATOR range.
