Tests and trials conducted on our mattresses
The materials used for mattress production are supplied by select producers from the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy and Slovakia.
Individual materials are tested for the following properties:
hygiene-toxicology at the Institute for Preventative and Clinical Medicine in Bratislava
chemical content of formaldehyde, light metals and pH water extraction at the VÚTCH - CHEMITEX research laboratory in Žilina
Spring mattresses as a complete unit are tested for:
mechanical properties (initial softness, overall deformation resistance under dynamic stress)
release of formaldehyde at the state research unit LIGNOTESTING in Bratislava for gaining product quality approval and certification.
orthopaedic properties at the I. Orthopaedic Clinic LFUK-FN in Bratislava
For anti-allergenic, orthopaedic, length and quality of sleep, and overall patient satisfaction the mattresses are tested at the Specialised Treatment Institute in Nitra Zobor and the Specialised Treatment Institute for Respiratory Diseases in Nový Smokovec.
The expert overall clinical opinion from the above institutes is a positive influence in the tested areas from the tested mattresses.
On the basis of the individual trials and their findings the Chief Hygiene Officer of the Slovak Republic Ministry of Health issued a recommendation for the tested products permitting the use of the term "Medical spring mattress" on them.
Warranty terms:
The goods are quality controlled prior to despatch and the manufacturer offers a warranty for them. Warranties offered are 5 year, 3 year, 1 year and 6 months from the date of sale depending on the product type and specification as specified in the letter of warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage incurred by incorrect use of the product.
